Kaiden Says

Kaiden: Ahhhhhh. That's a good cup of Joe.

Me: What?

Kaiden filling his cup with ice cubes and water from the fridge: It's Joe. It comes out of here.

There is a song called Fire Burning by Sean Kingston. When it comes on the radio Kaiden loves it so we crank it and sing. The song goes- Somebody call 911, Shorty's fire burnin' on the dance floor.....etc. It's an upbeat catchy song. Last week out of the blue we had this conversation.

Kaiden: Mom, who is fire burning on the dance floor?

Me: Uh.....

Kaiden: No! MOM! Tell me who is fire burning on the dance floor.

Me: Shorty.

Kaiden: Is Shorty a boy or a girl?

Me: A girl.

Kaiden: Oh. Where is the burning dance floor?

Me: I don't know.

Kaiden: Why is it on fire?

Me: It's not.

Kaiden: Oh.
