Family Vacation 2011 – Sea World

Our trip to Sea World was fun.  We started the day off by feeding the dolphins.  The girls didn’t love touching dead fish, but they loved feeling the smooth cold skin of the dolphins. Dolphins are fun to watch.

The best part of Sea World was the shows.  We watched the Killer Whale show, Dolphin show and the Sea Lion show.  We sat in the back rows at the first two shows but Kylie was determined to get splashed so she sat in the front row at the Seal Lion show.  The comedian doing the preshow was really funny.  He picked a woman with a camera out of the audience. Then he picked a random man and lastly he picked Kylie.  Then he took the woman’s camera and snapped a picture of them like they were a family.  Kylie was not sure what to think about it.  It was pretty humorous.

Overall it was a great day.  The Shark Encounter was really cool and the kids liked everything.  I was a little disappointed with the aquariums and the price of food was astronomical for the quantity you received.  I would probably skip this park if we make the trip to Cali again but I don’t regret taking the kids at least once.
