Our basement window wells are really deep….like over my head. This spring we had a rash of bunnies fall into the window wells and get stuck. I would let them go and they would hop off into the bushes or under the deck. I knew if my kids tried to let them loose they would get attached so I would try to do it quickly before they realized there was a bunny emergency. The Friday before Easter I got a frantic call at work from the kids. They had rescued a bunny and had it all snuggled in a blanket in a box. Great! They were attached. Then they called again with the news they had two bunnies.
They were so soft and cuddly with their twitching little noses. Hoppy Easter!
