The week started with a surprise birthday party for my mama. My sister Becky was the mastermind behind the event and we were able to keep it a secret and really surprise her. I love my mom. The more my family grows and the more I experience raising kids, the more I love her and understand her and really feel like I should call and apologize to her….on a daily basis.
We gathered early, parked around the corner and waited anxiously for her arrival. Craig and Ben did a trial walk in so I could practice taking the surprise shot and then Craig even showed me what it would look like if my mom walked into the house backwards.
